WintegoSPY Lock puts you firmly in control of how much time is spent on the computer each day. Set a daily time budget for the entire PC, assign separate limits to individual applications, and let WintegoSPY Lock enforce those boundaries automatically — locking the screen or closing apps the moment limits are reached — all protected by a secure admin password that only you control.

2. What Is WintegoSPY Lock?

WintegoSPY Lock is a Windows screen time management application developed by WintegoSPY SOFTWARE LLC. It runs quietly in the system tray, tracking every minute spent on the computer in real time. When a configured daily limit is reached, it displays a full-screen lock that cannot be dismissed without the admin password.

Two enforcement levels:
• Overall PC Limit — Global daily time budget. When reached, screen locks completely.
• Per-Application Limits — Individual limits for specific apps (e.g., chrome.exe). When reached, that app is force-closed.

5. How to Install WintegoSPY Lock

📥 Step-by-Step Installation

Locate WintegospyLock_Setup.exe → Right-click and select Run as administrator
Read the introduction and click Next
Read License Agreement → Click I Agree
Default install: C:\Program Files\Wintegospy\WintegoLock → Click Install
Click Finish to launch immediately

After installation: WintegoSPY Lock launches and appears in system tray. Tracking starts immediately.

First Launch & Default Password
Default admin password: admin
Security: Change this immediately. Right-click tray icon → Settings → Change Password. Choose a strong, unique password — this is the only way to unlock the screen.

6. Setting Your Daily Limits

⏱️ Overall PC Daily Limit

Right-click tray icon → Settings → enter password → set limit in minutes (1–1440) → Save.

Tip: 60 min = 1 hour. For 3-hour limit enter 180. For 8-hour workday enter 480.

📱 Per-Application Limits

Open Settings → Per-App Limits → Add App → enter executable name (e.g., chrome.exe) → set limit → Add.

7. The Lock Screen

When the daily PC limit is reached, a full-screen dark lock overlay covers all monitors showing:

Large lock icon & branding
Real-time clock
Usage statistics (time used, limit, minutes over)
Password input field

🔓 Unlocking the Screen

Type admin password → press Enter or click Unlock. Brute-force protection: After 3 wrong attempts, 30-second cooldown.

⌨️ Keyboard Blocking During Lock

The following keys are intercepted and blocked: Win key, Alt+Tab, Alt+F4, Ctrl+Alt+Delete, Win+D, Win+Tab, Win+E, Win+R, Win+L, Win+M — preventing bypass attempts.

8. System Tray Menu

10. Usage Report

Open from Settings → Usage Report. Shows:

Overall PC usage — total minutes used vs. daily limit
Each tracked application — name, minutes used, limit, % consumed
Which applications have been blocked today

The report updates in real time each time you open it.

13. How to Uninstall

Open Start Menu → "Add or Remove Programs"
Find WintegoSPY Lock → Click Uninstall
Follow on-screen prompts

The application, shortcuts, startup entries, and registry keys are fully removed. All screen time limits are lifted.
